Welcome to Studivanta. By creating an account, accessing our website, or using any part of our AI-powered study platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service. These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer, which form part of the same agreement.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
The Service is intended for students, teachers and self-learners. You may create an account using a valid email address and a password. If you are under 18, you should use Studivanta with the knowledge and consent of a parent, guardian or teacher. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and must not be shared, resold or transferred.
- Credential security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Prompt notification. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Account isolation. Each account has a unique identifier; attempting to access another user's content is a serious breach of these terms.
2. Free Plan and Fair Usage
Studivanta offers a free plan with daily generation limits for each feature — for example, a set number of note generations, practice question sets, mock tests and lessons per day. These limits reset daily according to your local timezone and exist because every generation consumes real computing capacity. We may adjust the limits from time to time to keep the free plan sustainable, and we apply short cool-down periods to prevent automated or abusive request patterns.
3. Pro Subscription, Billing and Refunds
- Plan benefits. The Pro plan removes daily generation limits and unlocks premium features as described on our pricing section at the time of purchase.
- Recurring billing. Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period and is not pro-rated.
- Price changes. We will give reasonable advance notice of any change to subscription pricing, which will apply from your next renewal.
- Refunds. Fees are generally non-refundable, but we will review genuine cases such as duplicate charges, accidental renewals reported promptly, or a prolonged outage that prevented use of paid features.
- Taxes. Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added where required by law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Studivanta lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Use the Service to cheat in a live examination, assessment, interview or any setting where external assistance is prohibited.
- Attempt to access, probe or interfere with another user's account, data or generated content.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated scripts, bots or headless browsers to generate content in bulk.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the prompts, models or source code behind the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, redistribute or commercially republish generated material as your own product.
- Upload or request content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that infringes another person's rights.
- Circumvent free-plan limits, rate limiting, authentication or any other technical restriction.
- Overload, disrupt or attempt to compromise the security or availability of our infrastructure.
5. AI-Generated Content
Study material on Studivanta is produced by artificial intelligence in response to the exam, class, subject and chapter you select. AI output can be incomplete, outdated or factually incorrect. You are responsible for verifying any fact, formula, date or answer against your prescribed textbook, NCERT chapter or the official syllabus before relying on it. Studivanta supplements your study resources; it does not replace your teachers, your textbooks or official examination authorities.
6. Intellectual Property
The Studivanta name, logo, interface design, code, prompt engineering and underlying systems are our property or that of our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of them to you.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service and to use the study material generated for your account for your own learning and teaching. You may download and print generated material for personal or classroom use. You may not sell it, publish it commercially, or present it as an original work of authorship for a purpose that requires original work.
7. Availability and Changes to the Service
We work hard to keep Studivanta available, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and availability may be affected by maintenance, third-party outages, AI provider limits or events beyond our control. We may add, modify, suspend or remove features at any time, and we may impose new limits where necessary to protect the platform.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third parties for hosting, database infrastructure, AI generation, email delivery and payments. Their performance can affect ours. Any links to external websites are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for third-party content, policies or practices.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studivanta and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including but not limited to examination results, lost marks, missed admissions, lost opportunities, lost data or lost profits, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Studivanta against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, abuses generation limits, attempts to access other users' data, or engages in fraudulent payment activity. Where the breach is minor we will normally warn you first. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; deletion of your data then proceeds as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before commencing formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us so we can attempt to resolve the matter directly, which is faster and better for everyone.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms as the Service develops. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continuing to use Studivanta after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Studivanta regarding the Service.
